Salt Lake Tribune to stick with carrier delivery

The Salt Lake Tribune will go on with Sunday carrier delivery, the paper said.

The paper announced in October that it’s going from a daily to a weekly print edition in January.

“When we announced the print switch, The Tribune said it would use the U.S. Postal Service to deliver the weekly edition,” said the paper. “But as we look to put your experience first, carriers will continue Sunday home delivery for subscribers who live in Salt Lake, Utah, Davis and Summit counties, as well as in St. George,” the paper said.

The paper will deliver the Thanksgiving edition as well.

Salt Lake Tribune Chairman Paul Huntsman bought the paper in 2016 from Alden Global Capital. The paper got IRS approval to be a non-profit last year.
