Rest in Peace Denise Cazares

On Monday morning March 22nd, my granddaughter Denise was discovered in her bed unresponsive by my wife Merly. She called 911, but it was too late for anything to be done to save her. Denise was twenty-one years old, and had her whole life ahead of her. The entire family is in mourning for this premature passing.

Denise is survived by her Great-grandfather Steve Martinez, Great-grandmother Maria Padgett, grandparents Yolanda and Robert Cazares, Edward and Merly Padgett, Susan and John Garay, Parents Kristine Padgett and Angel Cazares, and brother David Padgett, and sister Layloni Cazares. She has many uncles and aunts, and cousins.

The coroner will perform an autopsy to determine the cause of death, which might take longer than usual due to the Covid-19 surge in deaths. Funeral arrangements are pending.

Denise's aunt , Lisa Cazares, has created a go fund me page to cover the expenses of the funeral, which may be held at Rose Hills.

Denise is missed by everyone she touched.

Was she vaccinated before her death?
