The life of a food pantry Volunteer
Busy days at the food pantry keeps me from home and my computer, but it's all worth the effort. Sowing Seeds for Life is not only a food pantry, we're also a food bank, which means we supply many other organizations. Tomorrow I deliver to a senior citizen facility in La Verne, and Cal Poly Pomona. The majority of my work takes place in the morning, sometimes I work one hour, and other times eight hours per day. The variety of the work keeps it very interesting.
