San Jose Mercury News Staff Reductions

The San Jose Mercury News will cut 101 employees by December 19th due too declines in revenue, the newspaper is owned by Dean Singleton's MediaNews. Lets hope he's not interested in purchasing the Los Angeles Times. The Mercury News was a union newspaper when many of us pressperson's from the Los Angeles Times visited the paper with Hal Fleming.

Letter from the publisher (George Riggs) can be read here.
