Sam Zell, Newspaper Super Hero


I sure hope this guy never gets hold of kryptonite.

The great journalist Kevin Roderick, publisher of LA Observed has been keeping track of "Zellisms." Sam Zell is the new owner/publisher of the LA Times. He has no newspaper experience, and purchased the Times lock, stock and barrel from the flagging Tribune Company. I think he's the most charismatic publisher since the departure of the late Otis Chandler.
