This is an old memo from the layoff announcement from a few months ago
My name is Gary Weitman, and I handle communications for Tribune Company.
This is email was sent to Tribune employees on February 13. Somehow the date has been altered to make it appear as though it went out Monday. That is wrong. Please remove this memo from the site as it is confusing to media and employees.
This has become a rather generic letter! The only thing that seems to have changed is the date on the letter.

Did this guy really type "this is email was sent"? He handles communications for the company! No wonder we're going down the drain.
