Production Changes at LA Times Olympic Facility

With so many changes occurring at the Los Angeles Times in quick succession, nothing comes as a shock any longer. Reports from the Olympic Facility this morning claim all pressroom supervisors were present for a meeting in the reel room, with undisclosed guests among the supervisors.

Also present was former pressroom crew foreman John Garay, which I’m told would be coordinating schedule changes in the pressroom.

I will speculate the Los Angeles Times will not produce the Wall Street Journal or Barron’s, and we may see the
consolidation of press runs with the announced 15% reduction of the pages we currently produce in our newspaper.

Will have more as soon as information arrives while I’m away on vacation.
