Just heard that pressroom clerk Grace Retreage has been given her pink slip. Grace was transferred to the Los Angeles Times Olympic Facility when the newspaper closed the Chatsworth Production Facility in 2006, and was always quick to give a smile to whom ever entered the pressroom office.Grace was one of our two pressroom clerks that wore many hats as she always did her best to go the extra mile to help her colleagues as the human resources department was gutted and employees were unable to have their questions answered.
Grace will be sorely missed at the Times.
