Survived by his daughter Maya Bean, he was a single father.
Worked at the Los Angeles Times from 1989 thru 1998.
Worked as a teacher for Arroyo Valley High School from 2002 to present.
Loved Reggae Music and photography as a pastime.
He will be sorely missed by all he touched.
