Steinman Fellows is an immersive,
two-year journalism program at LNP l LancasterOnline, one of
Watchdog journalism is LNP’s calling card and
the staff wants to share that experience with two outstanding candidates
focused on their futures in journalism with this endeavor.
The selected journalists work as reporters,
photographers and videographers across digital and print platforms. Applicants
should have familiarity with working in the journalism field, but this
experience can come from a school newspaper, volunteer position or elsewhere.
Our fellows will receive oversight and
guidance from veteran journalists and be afforded the time and opportunity to
dig deep on some of the largest issues affecting the quality of life in our
community: the lack of access to a good education, housing, infrastructure,
health care and clean and safe drinking water. They will also be trained in the
use of digital reporting tools.
The Steinman Fellows will work closely with
other LNP Media Group properties, such as Lancaster Farming, the dominant source of
agricultural news and information for the mid-Atlantic, and The Caucus, a
watchdog newspaper that investigates

Through the Steinman Fellows program, LNP and
LNP Media Group publications will be able to provide a more diverse
journalistic voice that speaks to their needs, and the needs of an
