Interesting Visitors

As a Webmaster it's always interesting to see where visitors are from, and how many visits (Hits) your web site generates. If you click on the blue icon at the lower right side of the home page, you can see some of the stats for this site.

One visitor that caught my attention was from Sacramento, with the ISP of The Department of Justice. I wonder why they would visit my pages?

All I can say, if there's anything illegal here, Jesse did it.

Eddie, I just wanted to drop you a word. I was a former LA Times Employee in OC. I took a buy out in 1996. I moved to Florida in 1997 and went to work for the Sun Sentinel a Tribune Property. I read you blog daily and when I see your comments about work ect we have alot in common down here in Fl.When I went to work at the SS it was like OC in the 80's a fun place to work. Since, There have been alot of changes for the worse down here especially the Mgmt that runs the show.

Good Morning Dog,

And thank you for taking the time to leave a message.

I always enjoy hearing from fellow printers, because you understand completely what it's like to keep a printing press running.

So you know Gunther and the other German's installing the presses? Say hello from me to them, if they are still there.

Just another Presshead,
I.P. Eddie

This is the Department of Justice! Ed, put the keyboard down! Give it up, keep your hands where we can see them!

(They're on to you, Ed, don't let 'em take you alive. You're on top of the world!)-Jess

Jesse, it's the quiet ones we have to watch. Al has been awfully quiet lately?

Al, I hope your wife is doing better?

Well, I'm not the justice department! But I feel I shouldn't lurk.
I'm a writer. I happened to catch your blog because you had answered an article on someone else's blog regarding Otis Chandler. As it turns out, your blog is really fun to read! So I check in periodically, not sure why, except that it's a good kick in the rear to get back to my work!
Condolences to all of you who are no doubt still feeling the death of Otis Chandler. He was a great man of grace and intensity, a model on how to live your life. I hope that someday all of you will write down your Otis Chandler stories, put them together as a book and sell them. In the meanwhile, keep being 'the best of the best.'

Kanani,
Thank you for leaving your comment, means alot, having a real writer visiting.

Al, Jesse, and myself are wanna be writers. We do speak the language of blue collar workers across our great country, and many can relate to what we cry about.

Thank you again Kanani,
Eddie

kanani,
Feel free to visit, and post, any time you feel the urge; it's always nice to hear from a new reader. Though, I guess I'll be doing most of the writing on this blog when the Justice Department hauls Ed off to the Big House.

That's something I wrote for Mr. Chandler.

Eddie and Jess, I have bad news. I'm afraid it's unavoidable and incurable. There's no such thing as a wannabe writer. Judging from this blog: YOU'RE a writer. There is no disability that you can get, no special parking permit. Sorry. Congratuations or condolences, pal!

And feel free to share what I wrote about your former boss. Print it, tape it, whatever you want.

kanani,
Thanks for the compliment, but I must disagree, you're a writer, I'm just a hack. That was a very nice piece of work about Mr. Chandler, thank you for sharing it with us.
