Increase in Postal Rates

United States consumers just can’t seem to get a break as postage rates were increased again today. Don’t forget to add 2 cents to your postage as a first class letter was increased to 44 cents from 42 cents. Post cards also went up 1 cent from 27 cents to 28 cents today.

With credit card companies charging anywhere from $35.00 to 3% of balance as a late penalty, lets hope this information prevents a consumer from wasting money on a late fee due to a 2 cent postal increase.
