Meg Whitman looks good on paper; however, she is "more of the same". She is a supporter of the elite class in this country (and so is Carly Fiorina).
Almost everyone who comes to this blog is middle-class or working-class. You are a person whose wages, benefits, and job security has been undermined by people like Whitman and Fiorina who believe that one small fraction of the US population should own and control everything, and the others (us) should have creature comforts but no real ownership or power.
Do not vote these kind of people into public office. Corporate CEOs and members of corporate boards have one job: Making sure more and more of YOUR money continues to find its way into the pockets of the elite.
If you don't believe me, find one credible source that believes that the gap between rich and poor has grown smaller in the last 30 years. There are none. You are not better off. CEOs are better off, but you aren't. Don't put another CEO into public office.
To say "Let's make history and elect the first female Governeor." is absolutely horrendous. Electing someone just because it would be a first is the worst reason I can think of.
