Tribune Company has asked a bankruptcy judge to permit lawyers to gather information via discovery from former chief executive Randy Michaels, who the company says wiped data and e-mails from his company laptop and phone. That was with lawsuits pending, including one by ex-Los Angeles Times employees, and a complex bankruptcy proceeding underway.

A computer forensics expert can recover the information from the drive, it is never completely removed.
So what you’re saying Ronnie, their not telling the entire truth? I agree with you completely!
As for the emails erased on Randy Michael’s laptop, they (emails) remain on the Tribune servers until erased by an administrator.
Suppose they (Tribune executives) think everyone is a novice regarding the computer world?
