The Los Angeles
Fire Department (LAFD), Corporate Sponsors and
Teams, and thousands of Angelenos will gather for
this event, the purpose of which is to honor the
firefighters who risk their lives to serve and
protect us, and to raise funds for the Los Angeles
Firemen’s Relief Association’s Widows, Orphans and
Disabled Firemen’s Fund, a valuable 501(c)(3)
organization.
Hope for Firefighters
features live music, delicious meals prepared by over 25
different fire stations throughout the City, fire
apparatus and demonstrations, LAFD gift merchandise
booths, raffle drawings, prizes, trophies and exciting
Firefighter “Muster” games where more than twenty
sponsored teams will compete for trophies & prizes in
everything from bucket brigade, firefighter suit-up to
an old fashioned hose pull contest. Funds are raised
through sponsorship, meal ticket sales, raffle items and
the sale of LAFD merchandise through the Dalmatians
Store.
Hope Street between 3rd
and Hope Place will be closed to make way for the
thousands of people who will be attending. Click for

Bring your hats and sunscreen (especially for the little ones).
Food and beverage (fire bucks) pricing is as follows:
Meal = $7.00
Soda or Water = $1.00
Dessert or Coffee
Beverage = $2.00 to $4.00
