We would like to congratulate Patrick Soon-Shiong as the new owner of the Los Angeles Times.
The L.A. Times Guild looks forward to working with a local owner who can help us preserve The Times as a guardian of our community and as the voice of the American West.

Congratulations to the new owner of the Los Angeles Times ! I'm glad the Tribune group sold the paper after almost dismantling the Times of its historic history. Let's hope Mr. Soon-Shiong can bring it back to the mighty paper it used to be,here's hoping. Emmett Jaime III
