Presteligence announces Charles City Press located in Charles City, Iowa, will use NewsXtreme Cloud for the printing and production of the Charles City Press and other commercial jobs.
Having used NewsXtreme LITE since 2018, moving to the cloud version was a natural choice according to Publisher, Christopher Hall.
"With limited IT resources, moving our production to the cloud gives us peace of mind. We don't need to worry about hardware failure or outages."
Charles City Press will run the same configuration they were accustomed to with their standalone NewsXtreme system, but all the pages will be ripped in the cloud. Plate Tiffs will be FTP'd to their local CTP device.

NewsXtreme Cloud includes PDF preflight with automated correction, page pairing and imposition, load-balanced rips, ink optimization, and a portal for commercial clients to upload and proof jobs.
