Responsibilities
•
This individual will be responsible for the supervision, direction and leadership in safety, quality, productivity, and engagement to ensure production goals are met
•
This is a full time, night shift role, reporting to the Packaging Operations Manager and is located in Downtown, Los Angeles
•
Manage the production process and assure achievement of planned results in performance, productivity, quality and service to other departments in accordance with company goals and objectives and operating plans
•
Lead and motivate employees to work efficiently and effectively, while ensuring a safe work environment, and production of a quality product
•
Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product
•
Suggests changes in working conditions and the use of equipment to increase the efficiency of the plant
•
Inspects machines and equipment to ensure specific operational performance and optimum utilization
•
Reports needs to maintenance for preventive maintenance and/or repair/modification
•
To manage, assign and delegate responsibilities for specific work, functional activities and/or policy implementation to subordinate personnel in order to accomplish departmental goals, which include Quality, Resource Utilization, Reliability and Customer Satisfaction
•
Ensure deadlines and postal requirements are met and assists in all reporting functions associated with the overall plant process
•
Effectively completes responsibilities and task to ensure high quality outcomes are successfully achieved

Qualifications
Education/Certification:
• High school diploma or GED; Associates’ a plus
