Jon Peters Book Deal Terminated

Hollywood producer Jon Peters did not pull the plug on his book deal as he so gently put it in his letter to Harper Entertainment head Michael Morrison. "He was fired. Peters' resignation letter was as fictitious as the book itself," quipped a source fam iliar with the deal. Harper Collins retracted their offer on Thursday after receiving cease and desists from Barbra Streisand, Sharon Stone, Salma Hayek, Kim Basinger, Nicollette Sheridan, and Catherine Zeta Jones, all of whom Peters allegedly bedded.

Perhaps more intimidating to any publishing house were additional cease and desists from President Bill Clinton, Oprah Winfrey, Will Smith, Tom Cruise, Leonardo DiCaprio, Sony Pictures Chair Amy Pascal, Dreamworks CEO Stacey Snider, former Warner Bros. Chairman Terry Semel and Bob Daly, Spiderman producer Laura Ziskin, Pet ers former business partner Peter Guber, and billionaire media moguls David Geffen and Barry Diller.

Peters has accused his Superman: Man of Steel co-producer Brian Quintana who is suing him for sexual harassment of orchestrating a campaign against his Hollywood Tell-All. Quintana replied via e-mail, "When I helped facilitate this book deal, I had no idea Peters intended to sabotage so many people I care about. Obviously I have the contacts and skills to quash this transaction, but my lawyers will not let me confirm or deny any involvement."

Quintana's suit filed late last year does claim he is due money for a book deal which would imply he needed the deal to go forward, but our source added, "no one takes greater pride in catering to the Hollywood elite than Quintana. Clearly he saw this golden opportunity, and he took it." Peters may have finally met his match in Quintana.

The East LA native-turned-ivy leaguer has dealt with his share of billionaires, politicos, and Hollywood heavies. Quintana's long-term relationship with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi speaks volumes about his political prowess, and his widely publicized restraining order against Paris Hilton was considered the beginning of her demise.

This is a rebuttal to the above article. It would appear that his article was planted by Brian Quintana to do harm to Jon Peters.

Harper Collins did not retract their offer prior to receiving a letter from Mr. Peters stating he wanted to work in private and thanked them for the offer. See link below for the letter. The cease and disists are purly fabricated to do harm to Jon Peters who is a living individual.

The claims of Mr. Quintana securing a book deal is impossible. Also, Mr. Quintana was NEVER a producer for Mr. Peters. Mr. Quintana was already investigated and written about by the LA Times as referenced below. His claims were time and time again proven to untruthful. In court papers that are public record Mr. Peters does beg for help of the court for Mr. Quintana to stop his false claims of working for him in the capacities cited in this article above. This article should be removed as nothing contained in this is true. In the spirit of the rules, no personal attacks and this article is clearly one.

The creditablity of Brian Quintana has been investigated:
