I read the article about the 250 jobs being cut.
Black Wednesday, indeed.

Anyone know if we've had a full week of blackness? By that I mean a Black Monday, Black Tuesday, Black Wednesday... Seems like we've had enough to hit every day of the week.

It's sad to see people lose jobs they loved. The world changes so very fast. Keep up, it isn't going to slow down.

As I read through the explanations for the cuts, not once did mention of one the major root causes of the failure of big media occur - they are liberal, left wing, pro-abort, pro-homosexuality. They, also, are pro one world mentality. They are cutting their own throats.

I have never recieved The Times at my door step due to my conviction to not support their agenda. Until they are ready to reverse their ways, they are doomed.

Geez, what a hypocrite! You just worked for them and took their money for 25+ years.

GRANDStuPUD said "You just worked for them and took their money for 25+ years." That is true, however, they recieved an honest days work for an honest days pay. In turn, I used the money wisely and some of it was used to counter their agenda. I took no loyalty oath to them or their agenda, nor did they demand loyalty of me.

You are pro-life, does that make you a hypocrite for buying their product. I would say yes, what say you Knucklehead? Need I site the nine ways of participating in another's sins again. Hmmmm? I can site other examples, but that is not necessary.

You know, in one of the articles I read on the cutbacks, one genius said that subcriptions are down and the reason people site for not subscribing is due to lack of time. The day has as many hours and minutes as it has always had. The fact is - they choose to spend their time in other ways. Give them a product that is desireable and they will buy it. I, and my family, including my 11 year old, find the time to read the paper every day. The Times and it's writers are disconnected with a lot of people.
