The blog was started to talk about issues impacting the pressroom both positively and negatively. The views expressed here are not of the LA Times, but of each individual's opinion. The Pressmen's Club is composed of men and women who have printed the paper for twenty years or more. Semi-annual dinners are held in March and October. See Ed Padgett for more information.

PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY beats the HELL out of OBAMACARE!
I don't want to rain on anyone's parade but our country is broke. Social security, Medicare, and the post office are all going broke. Even if Obamacare survives the supreme court, the reality is there will not be enough money to fund it. It is already in trouble, collecting ten years of taxes for six years of program. The reason is doesn't go into effect until 2014 is because that is when all the things people do not like will kick in, long after the election is over.

Robin Hood, I mean Obama has ruined this country. Taxing the rich won't bring in the desired revenue. He needs to go.
