Add another to the growing list of departures at the Los Angeles Times

Subject: Christine De La Cruz is heading west. Or is it north?

Well, either way, she’s heading to a beautiful place.

Christine has accepted a position at the Pacific Coast Business Times in Santa Barbara. Her last day will be Nov. 16.

To say we’re sorry to see her go doesn’t begin to cover it. She has an unflagging spirit and a robust work ethic. She has filled many roles, and made herself indispensable in each. But she also has a title held throughout her tenure at The Times: treasured colleague.
