The Ashland Daily Press (Wisconsin ) is reducing the frequency of its
print editions each week, BusinessNorth reports.
In a letter
to subscribers, the paper said it will put news, special features and coupons
into a print edition that the U.S. Postal Service will deliver on Wednesdays
and Saturdays.
Adams Media
Group owns the paper.
“We’ll
provide print and digital coverage of mostly local news but our stories will be
tailored to the way readers consume them – longer, in-depth stories in print,
shorter, breaking stories with extras like photo galleries, podcasts and video
online,” the Daily Press said in its letter, according to BusinessNorth
