An honest conversation about diversity in the newsroom with employees and former METPROs of The Los Angeles Times. This short film documentary recalls the past and looks to the future of journalism without print, all while shining more light on a diversity program that has immersed young professionals into the world of journalism. The Minority Editorial Training Program or METPRO is now called The Los Angeles Times Fellowship and it continues to seek aspiring journalists who happen to be part of the minority. With recent layoffs at The Times and the printing press shutting down, this documentary explores what's next for the paper and what being a minority means today.
