Bruce Jingles is not a black comic. He’s a comic that happens to be black. He has performed with famous national headliners such as Jeff Garcia, Carlos Mencia, Chris Tucker, Gabriel Iglesias, Damon Wayans, Dave Chappelle, Dane Cook, The Legend...Paul Mooney and many others. Bruce’s material ranges from his teenage years in a latin community to his several mishaps with the law. His 2 DUI’s to his obsession with marijuana or sometimes he just simply talks about his day. His credits include the movie "Driving Bill Crazy", and two Showtime specials later this year, "Jeff Garcia's Low Budget Madness" and "The Ten Dollar Ticket." If you get a chance to see a Bruce at a show you get just that....a show. Come on, with a name like Bruce Jingles, he was born to do comedy.

About this blog and The Pressmens Club
The blog was started to talk about issues impacting the pressroom both positively and negatively. The views expressed here are not of the LA Times, but of each individual's opinion. The Pressmen's Club is composed of men and women who have printed the paper for twenty years or more. Semi-annual dinners are held in March and October. See Ed Padgett for more information.
