Fired After Speaking
at Chinatown Action

OUR Walmart activist and Walmart associate Girshriela Green speaks
at the March Against Walmart in L.A.'s Chinatown on June 30, 2012.
On June 30th, thousands gathered in L.A.'s Chinatown for the largest march against Walmart in the history of the United States. Girshriela Green, a worker at the Crenshaw Walmart and OUR Walmart activist, called on Walmart a to improve working conditions and to respect its workers. Just 6 days later Girshriela was fired. Girshriela and other outspoken workers are getting bullied and silenced on a daily basis.
