View Newspaper Group and Michigan Web Press are acquiring
the Daily News and Stafford Printing (both in Greenville, Michigan), the Lapeer
Area View reports.
The buy is scheduled to close June 3. View
Newspaper Group will now have 19 community newspapers and more than 115
employees.
The Daily News will be the group’s first
daily. It has a circulation of about 4,500 and is produced six days a week,
according to the Lapeer Area View.
