Sowing Seeds for Life - Serving the people

The COVID-19 outbreak has brought a surge of clients needing food assistance to food banks across the country. Here in La Verne, California Sowing Seeds for Life, which had an average of 7,000 visitors per month, to a record 25,000 in April.

Anticipating the need our operation was moved from La Verne to the Fairplex in Pomona, two months ago.

The NHRA stepped up and allowed the food bank to employ the drag strip to usher in the people in need.
