The Los Angeles Times Pressmen's Twenty Year Club extends its heartfelt sympathy and condolences to the family of Joe Thompson, who passed away at the age of seventy-seven. Joe passed away on February 6th, from heart bypass complications.

I for One mised Joe Thompson The Day He left the Times. He was A Leader In whom a Punk put His trust. Joe never let anyone down at the Times. He just Helped Us Young Guys. And Now were the old Timers. I Hope somday to Mentor a new kid on the block Like Joe Did
