Healthcare Survey for Tribune Employees

Subject: Message from Gerry Spector and Mike Bourgon/Got An Opinion About Your Benefits?
We all know the cost of healthcare continues to rise. In fact, these costs have increased faster than compensation rates for the past decade. That’s just one reason why Tribune takes a look at employees’ benefits each year. We also do it to ensure they’re cost-effective and provide coverage when you need it most.
Before enrollment for benefits begins in October, we’ll conduct this review and look at projected healthcare trends, utilization of the plans and we’ll also compare ourselves to our competitors. What’s different this year is that we’d also like YOUR feedback.
This link, http://www.securedatacollection.com/project/TribuneBenefitsSurvey, takes you to a quick survey (5 minutes or less) that you can take any time now through June 17th. It’s administered by a third party who will keep your responses completely confidential. If you have questions about it, contact the Tribune Benefits Service Center at 800/872-2222.
We’ll use the results, along with other data, to make 2009 benefit plan decisions. Specific benefit changes will be shared before open enrollment starts in October.
We’re all in this together, so your participation in the survey is important.
Gerry and Mike

Just my opinion, but I would not particiapate in any survey they propose. My experience is that these surveys are used to cut, and change things for the worse. Then, in the end, they will say - "Hey, this is what you asked for." It is called the Hegelian Dialectic. Boycott this baby and say thanks, but no thanks. I saw this used time and time again by "the freaks". The below is from Niki Raapana and Nordica Friedrich:
In 1847 the London Communist League (Karl Marx and Frederick Engels) used Hegel's theory of the dialectic to back up their economic theory of communism. Now, in the 21st century, Hegelian-Marxist thinking affects our entire social and political structure. The Hegelian dialectic is the framework for guiding our thoughts and actions into conflicts that lead us to a predetermined solution.
Ask John Walker to get a copy of that last SFV survey for us. Tell him to put his money where his mouth is. We particiapated in that survey and we deserve to see the results.
By the way, combining 1st and 2nd daily on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday was one of my ideas also, but there is more to it. Much more, so watch out.

I'm not going anywhere knucklehead, the harvest is great, but the laborers are few. I have only just begun, there are too many ignoramuses on this blog, including you, who are in serious need of eddofication.
By the way, grandstupid, you never answered my question. Remember a while back, I told you that one of our code names for Wayne Bean was “the clown.” Remember, how I told you we got this name from the Uncle Buck movie and how Wayne Bean reminded us of the drunken clown in that movie. It’s a riot, and, you know, youtube reports an enormous increase in viewers of that segment since my posting of that tidbit on this blog. If you haven’t seen the segment yet, DO IT NOW. Better yet, get in your mouse and go down to the closest video rental shop in your area and watch the whole movie. Ahahahahaha
