Times pauses offer after 'abuse': On Oct. 4, the paper announced that new digital subscribers would get a free Google Home device when they set up a new account in the All Access tier or higher. But according to The Verge, the company didn't state in its legal terms that the subscription must be for at least a year, so people were able to drop the subscription after paying $17 for one month, and still get the Home device.
