McClatchy is outsourcing page design and typesetting, Poynter reported. At least 26 will lose jobs.
The design and typesetting will be done by Express KCS, says Poynter, citing an email from McClatchy’s Kerry Bean that Poynter obtained.
The Miami Herald and The Kansas City Star are among McClatchy’s papers. The company is in 30 markets.
