Layoffs at Honolulu Star-Advertiser


Thirty-oneHonolulu Star-Advertiser workers have been told they will be laid off at the end of June, KITV reported.
The Star-Advertiser is Hawaii’s biggest paper.
The Pacific Media Workers Guild said the layoffs involve almost half the paper’s newsroom, Hawaii News Now reported.
The paper is managed by Oahu Publications, a subsidiary of Black Press.
