Cadmus Specialty Publications closing

Richmond, Virginia-based Cadmus Specialty Publications is closing, Richmond BizSense reported. 

According to a WARN notice filed by Cenveo Worldwide, the facility’s owner, 184 workers will lose their jobs.

The closure was first reported by Virginia Business Magazine, which is printed at the facility. Other clients include Virginia Living Magazine and Richmond Family Magazine.

“Unfortunately, with the ever-shrinking printing industry, finding a local replacement that is a fit for our page count and monthly printing quantity may be impossible,” said Margaret Thompson, Richmond Family Magazine publisher, according to Richmond BizSense.
