Yesterday was another gathering of bloggers, this time with a different twist; it was an ice cream social, later titled the anti-ice cream social by many blogs around town. Put together by Cecilia at 5th and Spring, and co-hosted by Blog Downtown, the turn out was much more than I expected and everyone had a great time chatting about different subjects.
Everytime anyone would stop for a moment and look towards our group, we asked one another "Could that be Militant Angeleno".
Joseph Mailander of Martini Republic, and now a blogger at Mayor Sam’s was on hand, to the delight of all the bloggers present.
And luckily Ed Fuentes was there or I would have been the lone smoker of the group. It was great getting out of the house for a few hours of fun, thanks everyone for attending.
It was extremely hot and sticky, but the iced drinks and ice cream from Piccomola Italian Ice Cream saved the day.

The Militant may or may not have been there, nor will he reveal that one or more of those people may or may not have been operatives of the Militant meant to throw off any of the participants of the ice cream meet.
