The blog was started to talk about issues impacting the pressroom both positively and negatively. The views expressed here are not of the LA Times, but of each individual's opinion. The Pressmen's Club is composed of men and women who have printed the paper for twenty years or more. Semi-annual dinners are held in March and October. See Ed Padgett for more information.

I'm in on an ethernet connection right now. It's very beautiful, but I'm here with my very troubled teenage son. In a sense, it's not restful. In fact, it's stressful because being with him is like being with a time bomb.
We've all had issues with our teens. I'm no different. Quite frankly, Nubia... I wish we could have left him at home, but he can't be trusted there on his own. So we are trying to have fun, but he's very moody.
Yuck.

Just hang in there, Girlfriend. You're right when you say we've all had issues with our teens. I've CERTAINLY had my share. And get this: They're grown and I'm STILL having issues! And it will continue to be that way until they bump their heads REALLY hard and realize that no one can live their lives but them, AND that no one owes them anything.
You have my sincere support and lots of prayers to go with it!
